Nature of Waves(an old poem)
Swim through the frost, i’ll never decay
A stand alone 15 year old deep in her sleep
i went down the wrong aisles, believed in the smiles
Couldn’t see beyond my fears
our young words get left behind hills
but yours never did and you
paved out our lane
cleaned up the glass
painted over the walls
and wrote some things we never could
i’ve been searching our souls lately
we’re floating around but fading
do you think we’ll be saved
from easter island’s rage
boy we don’t bother anymore
we’re become the waves of the sea
the ones that no one will aid
when there's nothing left
legends show that we can’t defeat
our fall by simply working and cleaning the leaves
empty falls, silent beams
broken city tours in my dreams
i tried to help you escape from this place
i swept you off of the sea but i’m still the weight of the rain
when you rule you feelings delay
irons high in my veins
i’ve been feeling soulless lately
been floating around but fading
i put a lens to your eyes
and now you don’t see the same
i know that one day you’ll awake
find a happy home in the flames
hope you won’t get burnt
the ground gets warmer by the day
