Entry 1: 27th of June, 2018
It is about 5:30 in the morning rn. I woke up at around 4am though because there was this girl in my cabin snoring, so i went to go take a shower and got to see the sunrise. I wish I brought my camera though because I'm sitting where the kayaks are by the lake and there is a slight dewy-breeze thing going on. Plus the sun is still waking up. It's refreshing. And my view pans out across the water to the forest/mountains in the backgrounds. There is a lot of evaporation going on back there cause you can see the water from the lake rising like steam and slowly blanketing over the trees. There is also the sound of birds and small waves hitting up on the shore. Near me are a bunch of kayaks, life jackets and paddles and also really bad mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes
I hate mosquitoes.
they are living needles
drinking blood on adrenaline.
and they all sing the same annoying song,
and most of the time I'm too tired to swat them,
or I'm carrying something heavy and my arms are filled,
so I can't either way.
I hate mosquitoes.
I guess it's time for mosquito repellent.

Sometimes I worry too much about not capturing good moments. I think I'm fearful of forgetting or maybe running out of them one day, which is illogical. But there's a sense of security in being able to visually go back to a place or event that you enjoyed. But then again, it's not about actually taking the photo or the image that's important, it's the context in which you see what you capture.
